The concept for this home was to design the floorplan around an open kitchen and main living space, and to make the building structure economical by eliminating seldom-used rooms and spaces and unnecessary square footage. Features include oversized windows flooding the rooms with natural light, unique finishes with traditional materials, dual purpose spaces, a super-insulated envelope, air sealing, and energy-conserving building practices.

The concept was to create an outdoor space and inviting entrance that looked original to the home, as well as add value and curb appeal to the home. All materials were high quality PVC decking and railings and care free siding and trim details. Landscape design focused on low profile and native plantings for unobstructed views from the porch and bluestone patio landing.
